Blenheim Baptist Church now occupies a site in the new Broadcasting Place development which extends between Woodhouse Lane and Blackman Lane just a few minutes walk from the city centre and between the two Universities. If you call in on a Sunday morning, it is difficult to predict who you might meet - students, members who have worshipped at the church for many years, visitors and people just passing by. We like to think that whoever comes through the door will receive a warm welcome.
While we may be a varied group of people, we share a desire to worship God together and to learn more about Jesus Christ. Our services (every Sunday morning at 10.45am) do not follow a formal liturgy but are composed of a mixture of singing, prayer, reading from the Bible and a sermon. Time is always set aside for sharing news about what is happening to church members and friends - so that we can support one another in the ups and downs of life. Activities are arranged for children and young people and there is also a crèche.
