We are a growing church and out of our developing relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and with each other, our vision is to be a New Testament Church, demonstrating the power and purpose of God to Street and the surrounding area according to God''s love and the life changing values found in the Bible.
WE AIM THROUGH:-
1. SOUND BIBLICAL TEACHING AND PRACTICE.
2. THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
3. THE GIFTS OF CHRIST AS FOUND IN EPH.4:11-12
4. WORSHIP.
TO EQUIP AND DEVELOP THE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH SO THAT THEY MAY CONTRIBUTE EFFECTIVELY TO THE BUILDING UP OF THE BODY OF CHRIST AND TO THE EXTENSION OF HIS KINGDOM.

| SREET-HARVEST CHURCH
STATEMENT OF FAITH.
The fundamental teaching of our fellowship is reflected in our clear statement of faith
1. We believe in the one eternal God, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Separate and yet co-equal.
Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 28:19; Jn.l5: 26; 2.Cor.l3: 14; Phil.2: 5-6.
2 We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible and in it''s final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
I Cor.2: 13. 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:16;
3. We believe that all people are born with a corrupt sinful nature, resulting in the need for repentance and regeneration; in the eternal separation from God of the unrepentant. Christians must guard against apostacy which would rob them of their salvation.
John 11:26; Acts 2:38; Acts 20:21; Rom.. 5:12; 1. Cor.9:27;1 Cor. .l5:22; Eph..2:3; Col.1:212-23; 2 Thess. l:7-9; 2 Peter 2:1-22.
4. We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the Father where He represents us. We believe in his second coming.
Luke 1:26-35; Luke 24:39; John 1:14-18; Acts 19-11; Rom. 4:25; I Cor.l5: l-4; I Cor. 15:20.1Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Peter 1:19; Heb.7: 26.
5. We believe that sinners are saved by God''s grace alone, through repentance and faith in the perfect sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom.5: 8-11; Eph. 2:8-9; Heb.9: 12 & 14..
6. We believe in the justification and sanctification of the believer through the finished work of Christ and in the resurrection of the believer in an incorruptible body.
Rom.3: 28; 1 Cor. 1:30; 1 Cor. 15:52-53; 2 Cor.5: 21; Gal. 2:16; 1 Thess. 4:16; Heb. 10:10.
7. We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion for believers and in the breaking of bread.
Matt.3:16; Matt.26: 26-29; Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:38; Acts.8:38; Acts 19:5; 1 Cor.11:23-32.
8. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with signs following.

9. We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit for the building up, encouragement and comfort of the Church, which is the Body of Christ.
1. Cor.12:6-11.
10. We believe that God ordains government. In His Church, Christ leads through apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons.
Acts 6:4-6; Acts 14:23; Rom.l2: 8; 1Cor.2: 27-28; Eph. 4:9-12; 1Tim.3; I.Tim. 5:17-21Titus 1:5-7; Heb. 13:17.
