The Church of God in Leigh has existed for over 75 years. It is linked with other Churches of God on a global basis in an interlinked Fellowship of Churches of God. It has a back-to-the-Bible ethos, believing the New Testament specifies a detailed pattern for how Christians are to serve God until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

| We believe: the Bible to be the inspired Word of God in its entirety; in the teaching of the Trinity; that all need to be saved from the penalty of their sins by repenting and believing the Gospel; the Gospel declares Jesus Christ, the Son of God, 'died for our sins'; believers are to be baptized & added to local Church of God fellowship as per the New Testament pattern. |
