|
Our aim is to honour Jesus as Lord in every aspect of our lives, as individuals and as a church, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to seek to persuade unbelievers to confess their sin, accept Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord, and to be baptised.

| As Christians we believe:
· In the sovereignty of God, Father, Son & ...More |
| As Christians we believe:
· In the sovereignty of God, Father, Son & Holy Spirit, creator of heaven and earth (Gen 1:1; Acts 17:24).
· That Jesus Christ was God incarnate, and is the risen Son of God, and that only through His atoning sacrifice can we gain eternal life (Acts 4:12; 1 John 5:13).
· That the Holy Spirit is God’s gift to the Church, and is God Himself working in the believer to bring assurance of eternal life (2 Cor 5:5), renewal from within (Rom 8:11), understanding of the Bible (John 16:13), and to equip us for Christian service (1 Cor 12:7).
· That the Bible is our supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Tim 3:14-17).
As Baptists we believe:
· That those who repent of their sin and confess Jesus as Lord should be baptised, normally by immersion in water, (example of Jesus: Matt 3:16-17; command of Jesus: Matt 28:19; also Acts 2:38, Rom 6:3-4).
· That the church is a community of believers who gather together under the Lordship of Christ (Matt 18:20; Col 1:18).
· That every member has a role to play in the life of the church (1 Cor 12:27).
