St Columba''s has been a spiritual home for countless people over the centuries as it is to the present congregation. We hope that the warmth and friendship we have enjoyed can be shared by many. Faith Statement That there is one sovereign, triune God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit: ...More That there is one sovereign, triune God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit: That the sin and guilt of man causes alienation from God and disharmony in human society: That God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, into the world as man to die for our sins, so that all who come to Him in repentance and faith can receive forgiveness and be welcomed into God''s family; That God raised Jesus from death, and that his living presence and power can now be experienced through the Holy Spirit: That the Holy Spirit illuminates the Bible for us, and gives us a new dynamic for living: That Jesus commands us to make the Good News known and reach out in love and compassion to our fellow human beings: That Jesus will return at the end of the age to bring in the fullness of His kingdom.
